MEET THE TEAM

Michelle, Dental Hygienist

Michelle received her Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University in 1989 and her Dental Hygiene Associate of Science Degree from Montgomery County Community College in 1999 (Summa cum Laude). Her strong desire to work directly with patients and use her significant health education experience led her to the dental hygiene field.

Michelle has been proudly working with this practice since 2001 and with Dr. Paster since he purchased the practice in 2012.  Michelle also holds a license in local anesthesia and is a licensed Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner.  Her happy place is at the beach and spending time traveling with her husband, Pete.  Michelle is a VERY proud Penn State alumni and a big fan of PSU football.

Devon-Lin, Dental Hygienist

Devon-Lin joined the practice in 2004 after graduating Summa cum Laude from Montgomery Community College’s Dental Hygiene Program. Devon-Lin also holds a license in local anesthesia and is a licensed Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner. She is a member of the dental honor society, Sigma Phi Alpha, and the Pennsylvania Dental Hygiene Association. Devon-Lin is also licensed as a Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner. She has over 10 years of experience in customer service, which made her a perfect team member for our Office Coordinator position. Several years ago, Kayla had the opportunity to get into the dental field and has found it to be very rewarding. In her free time she enjoys hiking with her husband and two dogs, Sasha and Misha, as well as oil painting.

Bernadette, Administrative Assistant

Bernadette began working in the dental field as a dental assistant in 2022 and graduated from Penn State in 2024 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Integrated Social Sciences. She began working at the practice since February 2025 and has enjoyed working with patients on an administrative level. Bernadette has found a lot of fulfillment working in the dental field by helping people feel more comfortable and confident. She enjoys her free time with her family, friends, and pets as well as crafting, watching movies, and traveling.

Chloe, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA), Sleep Coordinator

Chloe started working in the dental field in 2018 as a dental assistant, after receiving schooling from Contemporary Health Career Institute in Exton. She then furthered her education at Harcum College to become an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant in 2021. This license allows her to place and contour composite and other restorative materials, place sealants, polish teeth, and perform additional dental procedures.  Chloe also serves our patients by helping to fabricate and deliver Oral Appliances that are custom fitted to treat our patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnea

Chloe joined The Royersford Dentist in 2024, where she is very grateful for the connections and smiles she can create with others. When not at work, Chloe enjoys spending time at the beach, outside, and with her family.

Roxanne, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)

Roxanne started her career in dentistry in 2013, and received her EFDA certification in 2016 from Harcum College. This license allows her to place and contour composite and other restorative materials, place sealants, polish teeth, and perform additional dental procedures.

Her interest for dentistry started at a young age, and she loves educating and helping patients understand the importance of keeping their teeth. Roxanne’s passion for dentistry continued to evolve, and she now teaches aspiring dental assistants at the Contemporary Health Career Institute in Exton. In her spare time she loves spending time with her friends and family, and traveling.

Katie, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA), Sleep Educator

Katie began her career in dentistry in 2010 and joined The Royersford Dentist in 2021. She was educated at Berks Career & Technology Center, and Harcum College where she was trained as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant.

Katie has also become an integral part of treating sleep apnea and snoring within the practice.  Currently, she is meeting with patients remotely and providing consultations and education for patients looking to treat their Sleep Apnea with a custom Oral Appliance.  She enjoys the fact that her role extends beyond the oral cavity and that she can affect the overall health of her patients.  She is an active member of the AADSM (American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine).

“I am grateful to have the opportunity to interact with our patients, while providing education on dental care and good oral hygiene. Additionally, I love to allow my artistic abilities to shine in the restorations I place.”

When she’s not working, Katie enjoys spending time with her daughter, cooking, art, and the outdoors.
